YOUTH/ADULT SKATE
Who is it for?
Ages 15+
Don't think you are too old to resume your skating or even start. If you are returning to skating as an adult or wish to learn how to skate, this program is for you.
A Regional Certified Coach will be present to provide instructions to those skaters who wish to utilize her services, for those who have never skated before there is a 15 minute group lesson provided by the coach. Private lessons are also available during each session upon request, the skater must make arrangements for such by speaking with the coach directly as private lessons are not included in the registration fee.
Participants can enhance their skating skills, meet other skaters, socialize, and have fun while getting some exercise.
When you register for Youth/Adult Skate program at your local Skate Canada Club, you also become a member of Skate Canada, the national sport governing body for figure skating in Canada.
All skaters who register for this program will also be registered as Skate Canada members and a mandatory fee of $46.00 will automatically be added to your invoice upon check out. Your final price will also include Ontario Skaters' development fee of $10.00 which supports the development of our figure skaters on a local and provincial level. Each fully paid registration between August and April will receive 5 draw tickets for one of 5 prizes for the Ontario Skaters' Provincial contest. The random draw will take place at the 2023 Skate Ontario StarSkate competition.
